Personal data processing for the exam

I consent to the processing of my personal data by Súkromná jazyková škola ViP inštitút Paulus, with its registered office at Fraňa Mojtu 18, 949 01 Nitra, Slovak Republic, Company ID 57 766 606 (hereinafter the "Language School"), for the purposes of registering for a language examination, organising it, verifying my identity at the examination, issuing a certificate of its completion, and keeping records of the examination results.

Scope of the data processed

For the purposes stated above, the Language School processes: first name and surname, academic titles, date of birth, place of birth, personal identification number (rodné číslo), nationality, citizenship, address of residence, e-mail address and telephone number. In the case of minor participants, also the identification and contact details of the legal guardian.

I acknowledge that the personal identification number, place of birth, nationality and citizenship are required only for the examination, not for enrolment in a language course. They serve to unambiguously verify identity at the examination and to issue the certificate, which must contain data allowing its holder to be identified.

Data protection

The personal identification number is stored in the system in encrypted form. In ordinary work with an application it is displayed only in an abbreviated form and it is never sent by e-mail. It can be displayed in full only by an authorised employee of the Language School, and every such display is recorded.

Retention period

The data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for the period necessary to evidence the examination result and to comply with legal obligations, in particular in the area of accounting. Accounting documents are retained for 10 years pursuant to the Accounting Act.

Recipients of the data

We do not disclose the data to unauthorised third parties. To the extent necessary, it is accessible to the examination board and authorised employees of the Language School, to providers of accounting services and to providers of information technology ensuring the operation of the system. Furthermore to public authorities, where required by specific legislation.

Legal basis and voluntary nature

I grant this consent freely and voluntarily pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection (Slovak Republic). I acknowledge that without providing the data stated above it is not possible to register for the examination or to issue a certificate of its completion.

My rights

I have the right of access to my data, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. I may withdraw my consent at any time free of charge by sending an e-mail to office@vipinstitut.com; the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. I also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, Bratislava, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
